There are situations where your customers may change tables during their visit. To ensure their orders remain correctly recorded and organized, Butler provides the “Transfer Orders” function. Let’s see how you can use it.
1. Go to the “Tables” Tab
Open Butler Panel and select the “Tables” tab from the left-hand menu.
2. Select the Table with Pending Orders
Locate the table from which you want to transfer the orders. This table will be shown in red, indicating that there are unpaid orders. Click on it.
3. Choose “Transfer Orders”
In the window that appears, select “Transfer Orders” from the list.
4. Select Orders
After choosing Transfer Orders, a window will appear with all the orders sent to that table. You can either:
a) Select all orders by clicking the grey checkmark at the top right:
b) Select individual orders to transfer by clicking the grey checkmark next to each order separately:
Once you’ve selected the orders you want to transfer, click the “Transfer Orders” button at the bottom of the screen.
5. Select the New Table
In the new window, click the “To table” field and choose the table where you want to transfer the orders from the list that appears.
6. Complete the Transfer
Click the “Execute” button to finalize the transfer.
7. Confirmation
After a successful transfer, the original table will change color to white (open), while the new table will turn red (occupied), indicating that it now contains the transferred orders.
Important Note!
At the moment, it is not possible to transfer individual items. If you need to move only specific products, it is best to void the individual items and re-enter them under the correct table.
