Overview

The "Overview" tab is the key to understanding your business performance, giving you a clear picture of how your store is doing at a glance.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Overview tab is the first section of the Butler Panel and provides you with a general statistical snapshot of your business. More specifically, it allows you to view the number of orders, your revenue, the products sold, as well as any unpaid orders (for the current business day or any other selected time period). This way, you have full control over your business at any time.

Statistics Time Period

At the top of the tab, you’ll find the “Today” and “Store Opening Hours” buttons, which allow you to set the time period for the statistics displayed in the "Overview" tab.

  1. Today: By clicking the first button, which is set to “Today” by default, you can define the desired date range , either by selecting one of the suggested periods or by choosing a custom range through the “Custom” option.

  2. Store Opening Hours: By clicking the second button , which is set to “Store Hours” by default, you can define the time period you want. You may either use the operating hours you’ve set for your store in the “Settings” tab (e.g., 8:00 – 23:00) by selecting “Use Store Hours”, or set specific hours of your choice by switching the toggle off, as shown below.

Detailed Tab Information

Once you have set the time and date range, let’s go through the details displayed in the tab:

1. Orders:

In the first box, labeled “Orders”, you can see the total number of orders your store has received up to that point in time. This includes all orders, regardless of their status (e.g., prepared, paid, etc.).

By clicking on it, you are automatically redirected to the “Order History” tab, where you can view a more detailed report of your orders.

2. Turnover:

In the second box, labeled “Turnover”, you can see the total turnover your store has generated up to that point in time. By clicking on it, you are redirected to the “Transactions” tab, where you can view a more detailed breakdown of your turnover.

3. Products:

In the third box, labeled “Products”, you can see the total number of products your store has sold up to that point in time.

4. Unpaid Orders/ Unpaid Tables:

In the fourth box, labeled “Unpaid Orders”, you can see how many orders remain unpaid up to that point in time.

Important! The “Unpaid Orders” box refers exclusively to the daily time period “Today”, since by the end of the day we assume that all orders should be paid.

Therefore, if you choose to view statistics for any other time range or period, you will notice that this box does not appear at all.

Additionally, you will notice that if you hover over the box (when using a computer) or tap on it (from a mobile device or tablet), it flips and displays a new box labeled “Unpaid Tables”. This shows how many tables currently have unpaid orders. By clicking on it, you are redirected to the “Tables” tab, where you can see which tables are unpaid at that moment.

Note: The number of unpaid orders may differ from the number of unpaid tables, for the simple reason that a single table can have multiple orders.

Additional Statistical Information

Below the boxes described above, you will find the following:

1. Categories Table:

Displays the turnover and the product categories sold for the selected time period. By clicking on a category, you can view all the products within that category along with their detailed statistics.

1.

2.

2. Pie Chart:

It visualizes the data from the table. When you hover over the slices of the pie chart, the name of the corresponding category or product appears in the center, along with the number of products sold.

3. Peak Hours Chart

Finally, at the bottom of the tab, you will find a bar chart that displays your store’s peak hours, showing the times when you had the highest or lowest volume of orders.

The "Overview" tab is the key to understanding your business performance. Use it to identify trends, optimize your operations, and make decisions that drive your business toward success!
