Your store’s schedule is important for informing customers, organizing your staff, and ensuring the accurate display of your cash register and revenue in Butler. It’s essential to set it correctly so that core system functions work as intended.

Locate the “Store Hours” section on the right side of the screen.

In the two fields that appear, enter the opening and closing time of your store.Add multiple time slots (optional):
If your store operates with different shifts during the same day (e.g., closes for a lunch break), you can add additional time slots.

Once you’ve finished editing the schedule, don’t forget to click the “Save” button next to “Store Hours”.
6. Store State
In the top-left corner of the screen, you will find the Store State field, where you can manage your store’s availability.
The following options are available:
1. Automatic (Based on Store Hours)
The Automatic option follows the opening hours you have set for your store.
When the store is within its operating hours, it appears as open and you can receive or send orders.
When the store is outside its operating hours, it appears as closed and orders cannot be sent.
2. Force Open
The Force Open option overrides your store’s operating hours and keeps the store active at all times.
This allows you to receive and send orders at any time, regardless of the opening hours you have set.
3. Force Closed
The Force Closed option makes your store unavailable for orders, regardless of its operating hours.
6a. How can you check whether your store is closed?
If you are unsure about your store’s current status, you can easily check it from the application.
When the store is closed, a red notification bar appears at the top of the screen.
6b. Store Status in the Butler Application
Your store’s operating status also applies to the Butler Application and affects whether customers can place orders.
When the store appears as Closed (either because it is outside the configured operating hours or because "Force Closed" has been selected) customers cannot place or submit new orders through the application.
This ensures that orders can only be placed while your store is available to serve customers.
Tips:
Make sure the schedule you’ve set is accurate and up to date to avoid issues with your customers and to ensure the system functions properly.
Check the schedule regularly, especially if your store’s operating hours change often (e.g., seasonally).
