Updated over a week ago

Your store’s schedule is important for informing customers, organizing your staff, and ensuring the accurate display of your cash register and revenue in Butler. It’s essential to set it correctly so that core system functions work as intended.

Butler allows you to set and adjust your hours of operation with just a few steps:

1. Log in to Butler Panel

Sign in to the Butler Panel using your account credentials. If you’re having trouble, refer to the login guide found here.

2. Go to Settings

Navigate to the left-hand menu and select “Settings.”

3. “Store” Tab

At the top of the page, you’ll find tabs. By default, you’ll be on the first one, labeled “Store.” Here you’ll find the general settings for your store.

4. “Store Hours” Section

Locate the “Store Hours” section on the right side of the screen.

5. Set and Modify Hours:

To set or adjust your store’s operating hours for each day of the week, follow these steps:

  1. Select the day:
Click on the hours already displayed for the day you want to edit, or on the “+” button next to the day if you want to add new hours.

  2. Set the hours:
In the two fields that appear, enter the opening and closing time of your store.

  3. Add multiple time slots (optional):

If your store operates with different shifts during the same day (e.g., closes for a lunch break), you can add additional time slots.

    • Click the “+” button to add a new set of start and end time fields.

    • Fill in the fields with the extra operating hours.

  4. Save changes:
Once you’ve finished editing the schedule, don’t forget to click the “Save” button next to “Store Hours”.

Tips:

  • Make sure the schedule you’ve set is accurate and up to date to avoid issues with your customers and to ensure the system functions properly.

  • Check the schedule regularly, especially if your store’s operating hours change often (e.g., seasonally).
