Butler makes it easy for you to retrieve and share your sales data with your accountant, organized per VAT category, ensuring smooth management of your accounting obligations and myDATA.
1. Log in to the Butler Panel
Sign in to the Butler Panel using your account credentials. If you encounter any difficulties, refer to the login guide found here.
2. Go to Settings
Navigate through the left-hand menu and select the last option, “Settings.”
3. “Fiscal” Tab
From the tabs at the top of the page, select the last one titled “Fiscal.”
4. “Sales per VAT Category” Section
The Tax tab contains two subsections. In the second one, titled “Sales per VAT Category,” you will find the following available export and sharing actions:
"Print"
Click the blue “Print” button. The Sales per VAT Category report will be printed on your store’s default printer, which is usually the same printer used for printing receipts.
This option is ideal for quick printing and immediate use of the data.
"Send to Email"
Click the white “Send to Email” button to send your sales report via email to your personal email address (the one you use to log in to Butler), or to any recipient you choose (e.g., your accountant or partner) by adding them in CC. The steps are simple:
Select Period:
A new window will open with options for sending the report.
Use the calendar to select the year and month for which you want to view the Sales by VAT Category.
Note that you can only select one month at a time. If you want to view data for multiple months, you will need to repeat the process for each month separately.
The month you selected will be highlighted in blue.
CC Email (optional):
Enter the email address of the person you want to share your sales report with in the field labeled "CC Email" .You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma.
Send:
Finally, click the “Send to Email” button. Your sales report will be sent electronically within a few seconds in .txt file format.
Tip: To make the process even more automated, you can add your accountant as a user in your store’s Butler Panel. Assign them the appropriate permissions so they can access the fiscal settings and retrieve and manage the data themselves.
